Is driving not to the grocery store that's a mile away, but rather the one that's 6 miles away because you get to take a tunnel to get it it.

12 mile round trip is also better for your car! These very short trips aren’t what cars are made for.

Is that like taking backroads home from work turning a 20 min drive into an hour and a half drive?
Or taking backroads to the grocery store that’s less than a mile away turning it into a 15 min drive?

I frequently take the long way home from work because I have to pass under several wide bridges in quick succession. This obviously means I need to roll down my window, clutch out, and bounce off the rev limiter.
